      I’m not interested in Big 4 as I don’t feel part of the culture. Also generally I am more comfortable around smaller numbers of people. But how can I find a good small accountancy firm in London? Anyone got recommendations?

      I want to train for the ACA and gain relevant experience in audit/tax/advisory etc.

      Do you think Big 4 is the only option for excellent training?

      My son is looking to go to university in 2011. He is a good mathematician, physicist etc., but in this day and age he wants to study for a profession rather than just studying a ‘subject’ at university. He has come up with the idea of accountancy. What would be the avenues for him to get into this without incurring loads of debt at university while he goes about it? Any suggestions? Or indeed, any other career paths?

      Hey guys i am passed to class XI this year and i am very confused that which reference book i should select other then NCERT.
      I have a aim of joining IIT
      So my main subjects are physics ,Chemistry ,Maths and Computer

      SO plzzzzz help me out..
      I am very confused because there are many books for reference

      I’m asking this because I’m interested in taking the exam, but I’ve taken computer science (I’m in class XII). A friend tells me that it is necessary for all students of class XI and XII writing the exam to prepare for biology regardless of whether they took biology or not. Is that true?

      I’m not able to access the IISC website for some reason, so I’d be grateful if someone can clear it up for me. Thanks in advance.

      I’m planning on visiting small local accountancy firms to enquire about any vacancies they have or if I may be able to do some work experience for them as I’m attempting to get into the field.

      I’m just a little unsure of who to approach in these firms, so who would be best to ask for? I just wish to introduce and approach them myself as professionally as I!

      These are very small businesses.. one’s with but a few people running the business.. there wouldn’t be an HR department.

      Other than the normal CA of ICAI is there any other accountancy degree recognised in India?I am based abroad and am planning to do an accountancy course but just in case I decide to settle in India want to make sure that would be able to practice/work in india

      I currently attend Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Lately I’ve been looking to transfer to a school in the city (Chicago). What school would most benefit me as an accountancy major? I know NIU has a great accountancy program, but is there one better in the city?

      I studied accountancy in polytechnic and i have my higher national diploma[HND] in 1997 .I proceeded to Nigeria college of accountancy, Jos to pursuit my professional examination in which i qualified in 2003 as certified National Accountant under umbrella of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria[ANAN].Now as a chartered Accountant i want to fit in to every situation i may find myself.Presently i am working with office of auditor general for FCT area councils ,Abuja.Please what is the less costly way to fit in as a professional Accountant.

      I am looking into doing an accountancy qualification, I currently hold an honours degree in Law and I don’t want to do another year at university but I am getting confused between all the different courses. What is the main difference between AAT, ACCA and CIMA? Which is the best one to do?

      I’m thinking of becoming an accountant, I’m currently studying Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at AS level and will be applying for university soon. I was wondering what kinds of things do the big firms look for.
      Like what degree to they look for? I am planning to take the ACCA exams once I finish university. Or Should I just study accountancy at degree level? I was hoping to study something thats relevant but also as a back up….Thanks 😀

      I read in class xi and i’ve taken computer application as optional with science.. I wanna be a mechanical engineer. So i wanna know that is computer application better than biology to be a mechanical engineer?
