Sigmund Freud: 10 Question Quiz

Sigmund Freud is a very famous neurologist, psychoanalyst and is regarded as the ‘Father of Psychoanalysis’. He was born as Sigismund Schlomo Freud to a Gallican Jewish couple. He was the eldest of his eight siblings an lead a very poor life. During the Second World War he was forced to flee Austria with his immediate family members and even housemaid. Unfortunately, however, he could not secure passage for his younger four sisters who perished in concentration camps. Freud himself died in London in 1939 and his ashes were stored in a Greek urn. Few years later, his wife’s ashes were also stored in the same urn and it was kept London’s Golders Green Crematorium. Thieves attempted to steal the ashes in 2014, but failed. However, the urn was severely damaged.
Freud’s greatest contribution was his works on psychoanalysis and child psychoanalysis. This quiz on the great person covers various aspects of works, life and theory.
