Listing Obligation & Disclosure Requirement, 2015 – 10 points you need to know
Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirement, 2015 was notified by SEBI on September 2, 2015 replacing the existing Listing agreement. The new regulation have tried to be in line with provisions of Companies Act, 2013. Various definations and procedure now are in reference with provisions of Companies Act. This regulation is divided into eleven chapters and ten Schedules.
Apart from alignment with Companies Act, this regulation has introduced many other new and more stringer provisions. Disclosure requirement also have been expanded compared to erstwhile Listing Agreement.
