Plum is a juicy fruit that belongs botanically to the family members of Rosaceae. This fruit ranges from sweet to tart; the skin itself may be particularly tart. Local names of plum are ‘Aloo Bukhara‘ in Hindi, ‘Alpakoda’ in Tamil and ‘Onagida Draakshe’ in Kannada.
