  1. Sieve tubes are elongated tubular living counducting channels of pholem . A sieve tube is formed of a large number of thin walled sieve tube cells, placed end to end in linear row. The Transverse end walls between adjacent  seive tube cells are perforated. They are called seive plates. Seive plates are highly bulged out.
