Muhammad Ali, a famous boxer from the black community was a popular figure simply because he changed the whole face of boxing. He is regarded as one of the most celebrated sports figures of the 20th century. He was a remarkable, approachable and inspiring personality both inside as well as outside the ring. He is also one of the few boxers who actually spoke instead of letting his manager speak- like so many others do. He had his hsare of controversies, lawsuits, etc. However, he came out from all those unscathed only to become an awe inspiring figure not just within the boxing community but for the whole world.
