The Gupta period in ancient India  is known for  brilliant development in the fields of Buddhist art, architecture, sculpture and literature. The enormous wealth of the country during the  Gupta period had led to a cultural resurgence in India.  The Gupta period witnessed a culmination of earlier tendencies and style and the beginning of new style and technique in the field of architecture. Buddhist art had flourished during the Gupta period.

Buddhist ArtA famous rock-cut monastery in Ajanta caves consists of several Chaitya halls and numerous residential Viharas and fine example of Buddhist art. The cave paintings mainly depicted the Jataka stories and the life of Lord Buddha. The Bodhisattva-Padmapani painting of Ajanta represents Bodhisattva standing in a trivanga style. The Buddhist art and sculpture had attained an unprecedented excellence during the Gupta period.

All that you see in Jesus ‘s sayings is in the upanishads we have to notice that he has localised the teachings so that his people could understand them. I ‘ve read that Jesus lived near kashmir and there are proofs that after ressurection he was brought to India by his diciples.
