French Open: 10 Question Quiz

The French Open is one of the four grand slams held and is known to be the physically most taxing tournament. It is an annual event held at the Roland Garros stadium in Paris from May to June. This is the reason why French refer to the tournament as Roland Garros. The unique factor of this tournament is that it is held in a clay court unlike the others that are held in grass courts. From 1939 to 1945, during the World War, the French Open could not take place officially. However, unofficially it kept going. This in a way helped the French keep their spirits high. However, being an unofficial event, only French were allowed to participate in it.
