Government of India introduced Employee’s State Insurance Act,1948  to provide a legislation which secures employees health  and more serious  issues on that.As manpower is an important source of organisation and even to a country. Providing security to this, is an important aspect for every country.

The Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 provides an integrated need based social insurance scheme that protects the interest of workers in contingencies such as sickness, maternity, temporary or disablement either permanent or temporary, death due to employment injury resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity. The Act also guarantees reasonably good medical care to workers and their immediate dependants.
