Easy General Knowledge Test on India -Part 1

India-QuizIndia is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second-most populous country with over 1.2 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the south-west, and the Bay of Bengal on the south-east, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west. The History of India begins with the birth of the Indus Valley Civilization and the coming of the Aryans. In the fifth century, large parts of India were united under Ashoka. He also converted to Buddhism, and it is in his reign that Buddhism spread to other parts of Asia. It is in the reign of the Mauryas that Hinduism took the shape that fundamentally informs the religion down to the present day. Successor states were more fragmented.

There are many politicians in India, who are the so called “Saviours”, who speak very abruptly.

Few of them speak in public meet to gain populance.

For the sake of innocent people (of same lanuage) aborad in another country, they abuse Indian integrity. They even warn India against its sovereignty and integrity.

Indians have freedom of speech but, it should not be used in abuse of nation.

What should be done to shed these thorns who misuse the freedom of speech?

It is a pain transferring money from Middle East to London because of suspicion of terrorism money and host of rules and regulations. Is there any legal method of having the money transferred to a bank account in India and then transfer from India to UK? The private limited company in UK is not registered in India so far. Does RBI and FEMA provide for any such banking channel?

  6. For those of you who don’t know, India has two official languages, English and Hindi. In spite of this, social life in India isn’t all that hard compared to other countries like Canada, where having the 2 official languages of English and French has made social life rather complicated. What’s more, you are basically doomed in America if you don’t speak English. Can someone please explain to me why it is easy for India to have more than one official language but complicated for other countries who have more than one official language?
