Saving time in calculation is great help to any body. Aprt from the increase in self confidence , it also provides more time for other time consuming calculations which are required for tough maths problems. Every exam today require you not only  to solve ,  but to solve very fast.

So here is a trick for computing the multiplication by 15

[viral-lock]Say you want to multiply 59 x 15 = ::

Step 1 :  Just put one zero (0) after the number which is to be multiplied by 15= e.g     590

Step 2:  Halve the number in step 1 e.g 590/2 = 295

Step 3:  Add Step 1 result with Step 2 = 590 + 295= 885
